Plants are generally shipped the following Monday after receiving your payment. Occasionally, we ship on other days as well. If you need your plants sooner, send us an email and we'll try to work something out. Please note that, where indicated, some plants are shipped bare root (BR). All plants are carefully wrapped and packed to ensure their safe transit. USPS shipping insurance and delivery confirmation are included in the handling fee. All plants except trees are cut back to hardwood, approximately 8" to 12". It helps them recover faster from shipping and they will soon grow back what was removed. All bare root plants have most of the leaves removed as well. Because it's very time consuming, most sellers do not do this, but it saves on shipping while helping keep the plant from being shocked. If the unlikely event that your plants arrive dead, please let us know immediately by sending an email. It is your responsibility to file the insurance claim with the Post Office. We ship a lot of plants and this policy works well for both parties while cutting down on fraudulent claims.
